Bearded Dragon (Pogona vitticeps)
These Bearded dragons are Locally bred and the parents are: Father-Translucent Hypo Red X Blue Bar Leatherback. Mother: Leatherback. These guys have amazing colouration already and will continue to get brighter!
One of the most popular reptiles in the world, the Bearded Dragon is loved for its calm temperament, interactive nature, and unique appearance. Known for the “beard” under its chin that can puff out and darken, this Australian native is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced keepers alike.
Habitat
Bearded Dragons originate from the arid deserts and woodlands of Australia, requiring a warm, dry environment with plenty of space to explore and bask.
- Enclosure: Large vivarium (minimum 4ft x 2ft x 2ft for adults)

- Basking spot: 38–42°C
- Warm side: 30–32°C
- Cool side: 22–26°C
- Lighting: UVB lighting is essential for proper calcium absorption
- Humidity: Low (30–40%)
- Decor: Rocks, logs, basking platforms, and hides
Feeding
Bearded Dragons are omnivores, requiring a balanced diet of insects and plant matter.

- Juveniles: Mainly live insects (crickets, locusts, roaches) with some greens
- Adults: Mostly live insects with greens offered frequently.

- Juveniles: 1–2 times daily
- Adults: Daily
- Dust insects with calcium and vitamin supplements regularly
General Care
Bearded Dragons are hardy and interactive, often recognising their owners and showing curious behaviour.
