Orange Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion sandaracinos / Orange Skunk Clownfish)
A peaceful and elegant marine species, the Orange Skunk Clownfish is recognised by its soft orange body and distinctive white stripe running along the top of its head and back. Its calm temperament and graceful swimming style make it an excellent choice for reef and community aquariums.
Compatibility:
Peaceful. Best kept with other calm community fish such as gobies, blennies, wrasses, and small tangs. Generally less aggressive than many other clownfish species, making it ideal for peaceful reef systems.
Reef Compatibility:
Reef-safe. Completely safe with corals and most invertebrates. May naturally host with compatible anemones, though this is not required for captive care.
Diet:
Omnivore – feeds on marine pellets, flakes, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Feed 1–2 times daily to maintain health and vibrant coloration.

- Salinity: 1.023–1.026 SG
- pH: 8.1–8.4
- Minimum Tank Size: 80L
Care Level:
Easy – hardy, adaptable, and suitable for both beginner and experienced marine aquarists. Thrives in stable reef environments with plenty of shelter.
Top Tip:
Provide gentle flow and plenty of rockwork or coral branches for security. Their peaceful nature makes them an excellent addition to calm reef communities.
