Schwartz's Corydoras
Latin name: Corydoras schwartzi
The Schwartz's Corydoras is a beautiful and peaceful South American catfish, admired for its striking black facial mask, spotted body, and active shoaling behaviour. Hardy and easy to care for, this species is an excellent choice for planted and community aquariums, where it will spend its day foraging across the substrate.

- Adult Size: 5–6 cm
- Temperature: 22–27°C
- pH: 6.0–7.5
- Tank Size: Minimum 60 litres
- Diet: Omnivorous — sinking pellets, algae wafers, frozen foods, and live foods such as bloodworm and daphnia
- Temperament: Very peaceful; should be kept in groups of at least 6 for natural schooling behaviour
- Tank Setup: Fine sand substrate, driftwood, plants, gentle water flow, and excellent water quality
