Savanna Tetra
Latin name: Hyphessobrycon stegemanni
The Savanna Tetra is a peaceful and attractive South American tetra, known for its subtle metallic body tones, soft golden highlights, and calm schooling behaviour. Its understated coloration makes it a great natural-looking addition to planted aquariums and community setups, especially where a more subtle, biotope-style appearance is desired.

- Temperature: 23–28°C

- Tank Size: Minimum 60 litres
- Diet: Omnivorous — quality flakes, micro pellets, frozen foods, and live foods such as daphnia and baby brine shrimp
- Temperament: Very peaceful; best kept in groups of 8 or more
- Tank Setup: Planted aquarium with dark substrate, driftwood, leaf litter, subdued lighting, and gentle water flow
