Red Stripe Angelfish (Centropyge eibli)

Also known as Eibli’s Angelfish, the Red Stripe Angel is a beautifully patterned dwarf species featuring a soft grey body covered in fine horizontal orange-red stripes, finished with subtle blue accents. A more understated but elegant angelfish, it adds movement and detail to any marine aquarium.

Compatibility:
Semi-aggressive. Generally more peaceful than many dwarf angels but can still be territorial, especially towards other angelfish. Mixes well with tangs, wrasse, clownfish, gobies, and other semi-aggressive community species.

Reef Compatibility:
With caution. May nip at soft corals, LPS, and clam mantles, though it is often considered one of the safer dwarf angelfish options for reef tanks.

Diet:
Omnivore – benefits from a varied diet including marine flakes, pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and algae-based foods such as spirulina. Sponge-based foods are recommended for long-term health.

Water Parameters:

  • Temperature: 24–27°C
  • Salinity: 1.023–1.026 SG
  • pH: 8.1–8.4
  • Minimum Tank Size: 150L

Care Level:
Moderate – hardy once settled but requires a mature aquarium with stable parameters and plenty of live rock for grazing and shelter.

Top Tip:
Introduce as one of the later additions to the tank to reduce territorial behaviour, and ensure plenty of rockwork to create natural boundaries.

Please note, delivery may take a little longer as we often group orders together to build an efficient delivery run.

Important: If you’re ordering a large aquarium, please ensure someone is available to help unload the van on arrival.

  • Express Pallet: 1–3 working days 75-500kg
