Orange Storm Clownfish – Tank Bred Pair (Amphiprion ocellaris)
A stunning and dramatic variation of the classic Ocellaris Clownfish, the Orange Storm Clownfish features vibrant orange body colouring accented with irregular storm-like white markings. Our pairs are tank-bred, ensuring hardiness, excellent health, and superior adaptability to reef aquariums.
Compatibility:
Peaceful but territorial with other clownfish. Ideal for reef and community tanks. Mixes well with gobies, blennies, firefish, tangs, and other peaceful species. Best kept as a bonded pair for natural behaviour display.
Reef Compatibility:
Reef-safe. Can safely cohabit with anemones and corals, making them a perfect addition to live rock and reef systems.
Diet:
Omnivore – thrives on a varied diet of high-quality marine flakes, pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and chopped seafood. Multiple feedings per day enhance colour vibrancy and growth.
Water Parameters:
- Temperature: 24–27°C
- Salinity: 1.023–1.026 SG
- pH: 8.1–8.4
- Minimum Tank Size: 60L
Care Level:
Easy to Moderate – hardy and adaptable, suitable for beginners and advanced marine hobbyists alike.
Top Tip:
Introduce to a tank with plenty of hiding spots and consider a small anemone for natural hosting behaviour. Tank-bred pairs show stronger bonding and are less aggressive than wild-caught alternatives.
