Formerly classified as Corydoras sp. “CW51”
The Hoplisoma CW51 is a beautiful and uncommon armored catfish prized for its attractive markings, peaceful nature, and active bottom-dwelling behaviour. Ideal for community aquariums, this social species thrives in groups and adds constant movement and personality to the lower levels of the tank.

- Adult Size: 5–6 cm
- Temperature: 22–26°C
- pH: 6.0–7.5
- Tank Size: Minimum 60 litres
- Diet: Omnivorous — sinking pellets, wafers, frozen foods, and live foods such as bloodworm and daphnia
- Temperament: Very peaceful; should be kept in groups of 6 or more
- Tank Setup: Fine sand substrate, planted areas, driftwood, gentle flow, and excellent water quality
