The Green Phantom Pleco (L200) is a visually striking freshwater pleco known for its vibrant green to olive body accented by subtle yellowish spots and bold yellow fin edges. Its sleek body and unique coloration add a vivid pop to any aquarium, making it a favorite among pleco collectors and aquascapers alike.
Native to the fast-flowing, oxygen-rich rivers of Venezuela, particularly the Orinoco and its tributaries, L200 requires pristine water conditions, good current, and ample hiding places such as driftwood, rocks, and shaded areas. This species is peaceful and reclusive, often active during the evening and night. It is omnivorous but leans heavily on a herbivorous diet.
