The Freshwater Tiger Moray Eel (Gymnothorax polyuranodon) is a rare and highly sought-after species known for its bold, tiger-like markings and snake-like elegance. Despite its name, this eel is best kept in brackish to lightly marine conditions, especially as it matures. Originating from Southeast Asia and Northern Australia, it’s a unique showpiece for advanced aquarists looking to keep a true oddball predator.
