Cleft Lipped Goby (Sicyopterus cynocephalus)
A striking and energetic freshwater goby known for its distinctive split upper lip and vibrant colour flashes. Sicyopterus cynocephalus is a river-dwelling, algae-grazing species that thrives in highly oxygenated, fast-flowing environments.
These gobies are constantly active, exploring surfaces and grazing throughout the day. Their unique appearance, combined with their lively behaviour, makes them a standout addition for specialist keepers or biotope-style stream tanks.
