Latin name: Pterophyllum scalare

The Blue Tiger Platinum Angelfish is a spectacular designer angelfish, combining shimmering platinum-white coloration with striking blue iridescence and distinctive tiger-style striping. With its elegant finnage and graceful swimming, this premium variety makes a stunning centrepiece for planted and community aquariums.

  • Adult Size: 15 cm body length (up to 25–30 cm tall including fins)
  • Temperature: 25–30°C
  • pH: 6.0–7.5
  • Tank Size: Minimum 150–200 litres
  • Diet: Omnivorous — high-quality flakes, pellets, frozen foods, and live foods such as bloodworm and brine shrimp
  • Temperament: Peaceful but semi-territorial as adults, particularly during breeding
  • Tank Setup: Tall aquarium with plants, driftwood, open swimming areas, and gentle water flow

Order anything from our in-store range and have it delivered right to you.
