Blue Reef Chromis (Chromis cyanea / Chromis viridis variant)
A vibrant and peaceful schooling fish, the Blue Reef Chromis is prized for its shimmering electric blue coloration and active, graceful swimming. Perfect for reef and community tanks, this species adds dynamic movement and a splash of colour throughout the water column.
Compatibility:
Peaceful. Best kept in small schools of 5–10 or more to encourage natural schooling behaviour. Mixes well with other non-aggressive species such as clownfish, gobies, blennies, anthias, and tangs. Avoid housing with large, aggressive fish that may bully or eat them.
Reef Compatibility:
Reef-safe. Does not harm corals or invertebrates, making it ideal for reef aquariums.
Diet:
Omnivore – thrives on a diet of high-quality marine flakes, pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Feed small amounts multiple times per day to support vibrant coloration and active swimming.

- Salinity: 1.023–1.026 SG
- pH: 8.1–8.4

Livestock will normally be bagged when you arrive, helping to minimise the amount of time animals spend packaged. If you’d prefer your livestock to be ready beforehand, simply contact us in advance.

Distances are measured “as the crow flies” rather than by road.
Once your order has been placed, we’ll contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date and time. We often combine nearby orders into efficient delivery runs, so local delivery may take a little longer during busy periods.

Orders placed before 12 noon may be dispatched the same day on our current dispatch days.

Designed for larger and heavier orders that cannot be sent using our standard parcel service.
