Description
Black Arrow Tetra
Inpaichthys luizae
The Black Arrow Tetra is a beautiful and relatively uncommon South American tetra, instantly recognisable by its distinctive dark, arrow-like stripe running along the body. Contrasting iridescent blue to violet tones give this fish an incredibly attractive appearance, particularly when maintained in a good-sized group.
Originating from Brazil, this recently described species is closely related to the popular Blue Emperor Tetra and makes a fantastic choice for planted and South American-style community aquariums.
