Latin name: Jordanella floridae
The American Flagfish is a hardy and eye-catching killifish named for the male’s bold red, white, and blue patterning, which resembles the American flag. Native to Florida, this species is well known for its algae-grazing habits and suitability for cooler, unheated aquariums.
