Paska's Blue Eye Rainbowfish
Pseudomugil paskai
The Paska's Blue Eye Rainbowfish is a stunning small rainbowfish, prized for its vibrant orange-red colouration, shimmering blue eyes and spectacular displaying behaviour. Native to Papua New Guinea, this beautiful species is a fantastic addition to planted aquariums and peaceful community setups.
Mature males are particularly impressive, developing intense orange and red tones across their bodies and fins, often accompanied by dark markings and delicate extended finnage. Females are generally more subdued in colour but equally attractive, making a mixed group an incredible display.
