Hoplisoma CW217
Formerly classified as Corydoras sp. “CW217”
The Hoplisoma CW217 is a rare and highly desirable armored catfish, valued for its attractive patterning, peaceful temperament, and active shoaling behaviour. Like other Hoplisoma species, it is an excellent bottom-dweller for peaceful community aquariums and thrives when kept in groups.

- Adult Size: 5–6 cm
- Temperature: 22–26°C
- pH: 6.0–7.5
- Tank Size: Minimum 60 litres
- Diet: Omnivorous — sinking pellets, wafers, frozen foods, and live foods such as bloodworm and daphnia
- Temperament: Very peaceful; best kept in groups of 6 or more
- Tank Setup: Fine sand substrate, planted areas, driftwood, gentle flow, and excellent water quality
