The Dyeing Poison Arrow Frog "Cobalt" is a spectacular colour form of Dendrobates tinctorius, renowned for its vivid blue legs, contrasting dark markings and bright yellow colouration across the head and back. Bold, active and frequently visible during the day, the Cobalt is one of the most recognisable poison frog varieties and makes an incredible centrepiece for a carefully maintained tropical vivarium.
Despite the name "Poison Arrow Frog", captive-bred individuals do not develop the potent skin toxins associated with their wild counterparts, as these toxins are derived from components of their natural diet.
Habitat
Dyeing Poison Arrow Frogs are predominantly terrestrial but readily climb amongst plants, cork and low-level branches.

Feeding
