Latin name: Hoplarchus psittacus
The Red Terror Cichlid is a powerful and highly sought-after South American cichlid, admired for its robust body shape, intense red/orange coloration, and commanding presence. Despite its intimidating name, this species is generally less aggressive than many large cichlids, though it still requires careful tankmate selection and plenty of space.
