Distinctive Red Eyes: As their name suggests, the Red Eye Tetra is most famous for its vivid, bright red eyes, which create a striking contrast against its otherwise clear body.
-
Behavior: Peaceful, social schooling fish; best kept in groups of 6 or more to promote natural behavior and reduce stress.
-
Tank Size: Minimum 20 gallons recommended for a small school, although a larger tank is ideal to accommodate their active swimming and schooling behavior.
