The Purple Apple Snail is a stunning and uncommon variety of the popular mystery snail, admired for its beautiful deep purple to violet shell that adds a unique splash of colour to freshwater aquariums. Peaceful and fascinating to watch, these snails are excellent algae grazers and scavengers, helping to keep your tank clean by consuming leftover food and detritus.
Unlike pest snails, Apple Snails do not reproduce uncontrollably in aquariums unless both males and females are present. They are safe with plants, community fish, and shrimp, making them a great addition to peaceful setups.
